Course Topics/Learning Objectives: This course will cover a wide array of basic protection details, including personality, attire, transport, movement, accessibility and attitude. We will cover situational security for meet and greets, TV/radio appearances, within crowds, in transit, at hotels, through airports, as well as international travel. A large portion of this software download will be an in-depth look at event advance security and a comprehensive look at event searches, crowd control, credentials considerations and staffing requirements. Creating a safe environment for VIPs in a wide array of venues. Day 2 Description: Day 2 is a mixed skills/exposure day covering four topics.
First is a “Civic Drift” download and small group exercise. Students will learn how to deconstruct a live environment, identify leadership, create a digital mosaic, sterilize and exploit targets as a team. Day 2 also includes a non-permissive environment (NPE) learning block, demonstrating the types of common searches we come across and the types of weapons and methods used to bypass security. We will discuss counter custody methods and defeating common restraints with light, small group drills. Then we will cover modern knife design, reverse edge methodology and practical use of edged weapons.
